The winner of this year’s children’s Eurovision Song Contest was France’s representative, Lou Deleuze. Ukrainian Sofya Nersesyan won second place with the song “Motanka”. This was announced on the competition’s website.
The representative of Ukraine scored 177 votes. The national jury gave Sofia 79 points, and the audience – 98 points.
France received 248 points. According to the results of the competition, Georgia placed third, Armenia fourth, and the representative of Spain rounded out the top five.
This year’s Eurovision Song Contest for children was held in the Georgian capital, Tbilisi, after Andrii Putkaradze won for Georgia with the song “To My Mom” last year.
