The Ukrainian national football team defeated Morocco at the 2024 Olympics with a score of 2:1.
In the first half, only the Ukrainians created chances. Dmytro Kryskiv scored the first goal in the 22nd minute.
After the break, Morocco began to create tense moments at the Ukrainian goal. Ukrainian Volodymyr Saliuk knocked down Moroccan footballer Soufiane Rahimi in the penalty area, for which he received a red card, and the Moroccan national team received a penalty kick. Rahimi converted the penalty and equalized in the 64th minute.
Despite being outnumbered, Ihor Krasnopir scored a goal in the 90+8th minute, giving the national team the victory.
