Ukraine has received $177 million from the World Bank under two reform support projects. This is stated in a Ministry of Finance statement.
Project funds:
- $147 million — under the SURGE project “Supporting Recovery through Smart Fiscal Management”;
- $30 million — under the THRIVE project “Transforming Healthcare through Reform and Investment in Efficiency.”
The funds received were credited to the State Budget of Ukraine’s general fund.
By the end of the year, Ukraine expects to receive an additional $249 million under the SURGE project and $17.5 million under the THRIVE project.
