The Ukrainian national team performed brilliantly at the 2025 World Games, winning 44 medals: 16 gold, 14 silver, and 14 bronze.
Our athletes were among the strongest in various sports, including underwater swimming, powerlifting, sambo, dragon boat racing, kickboxing, wakeboarding, sports acrobatics, karate, jiu-jitsu, muay thai, and sports aerobics.
As a result, the Ukrainian team took third place in the overall medal standings, repeating the best result in the history of its performances at these competitions. This is the second consecutive bronze podium for Ukraine in the overall standings of the World Games. In Birmingham 2022, the Ukrainian team also closed the top three.
The winners of the Games were the hosts, the Chinese team, with Germany in second place, ahead of Ukraine by just one gold medal.
It is the Germans who will host the next World Games in 2029 in Karlsruhe.
