In January 2025, companies on DOU published 6,445 IT vacancies, the highest number since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Compared to December last year, 1,861 vacancies were added. The current figure is also 1.4 thousand more than in January last year, according to a study by the industry portal DOU.
The top five areas by the number of vacancies in January are:
- Marketing – 722,
- Sales – 382,
- QA – 381,
- Analyst – 359,
- Front-end – 324.
The most significant increase was in Marketing, with +204 monthly vacancies; sales, with +143 vacancies; and Front-end, with +119 vacancies.
Some categories exceeded or reached the level before the full-scale for the first time: Architect (48 vacancies), Design (278), Product Manager (204), SEO (72), and Support (209).
However, the number of vacancies for developers, QA, and many other technical specializations is still far from the figures of three years ago.
It is noted that the miltech sector also recorded a record – 312 vacancies in January.
