UKI Ukrainian Book Club Launches in Sydney

Another 15,000 books from the UK are to be donated to Ukrainian libraries

A new Ukrainian book club, UKI BOOK, is launching in Sydney, Australia. It is a unique space for everyone who loves to read in Ukrainian, discover new literary horizons, and share their experiences.

The club’s first meeting will take place on Saturday, March 15, at 11:00 a.m. at the Royal Botanic Garden Cafe. Members will get to know each other, learn more about the club’s concept, and choose their first book to read together.

The club’s format includes reading Ukrainian works, discussions in Ukrainian, monthly live meetings, and meetings with authors.

Pre-registration via the link or QR code in the flyer is required to participate in the first meeting. After registration, participants will receive an invitation to a special WhatsApp group for convenient communication.

The club was created as part of the Ukrainian-Australian Identity Through Language project, initiated by the Ukrainian Council of NSW.
