On May 9, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed Valeriy Zaluzhnyi as Ukraine’s ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
The corresponding decree No. 316/2024 was published on the Presidential website.
Earlier in the day, Zelenskyy discharged Zaluzhnyi from military service for health reasons with the right to wear military uniforms.
