On July 16, 2025, the Verkhovna Rada voted to dismiss the Cabinet of Ministers headed by Denys Shmyhal. This was announced on Telegram by Yaroslav Zheleznyak, first deputy chairman of the Tax Committee.
A total of 261 MPs voted in favor of the government’s dismissal.
