The Polish retail chain Pepco has confirmed its entry into the Ukrainian market

Polish retailer Pepco is preparing to enter the Ukrainian market. This was confirmed by the group’s CEO, Stephen Borchert, in the report for the first half of fiscal year 2026, according to Wiadomości Handlowe. In April, it was reported that the chain was looking for locations to open stores in Ukraine.

The company plans a pilot launch of a small number of stores in carefully selected regions of the country. At the same time, ensuring employees’ complete safety amid the war will be a key aspect of the project’s implementation, Pepco added.

Pepco is a Polish chain of clothing and home goods stores headquartered in Poznań, founded in 1999. The company has over 4,000 stores across 18 countries, is part of the Pepco Group, and serves over 41 million customers each month. The brand remains the group’s key asset, accounting for 93% of its revenue and 92% of its retail space.
