The salaries of Ukrainian officials increased by more than UAH 23 thousand, or 60%, from January to November 2024. The relevant data was published by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
According to the Ministry, government employees received an average of almost UAH 62 thousand in November 2024, while in January, the average was UAH 38.6 thousand. That is, the average salary increased by 61%.
According to the Pension Fund of Ukraine, the average salary in September 2024 was UAH 18,020. Thus, officials receive more than three times this average salary.
According to the Ministry of Finance’s infographic, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine pays the highest salaries. The average figure reaches UAH 118.7 thousand, while the management gets UAH 215 thousand.
The Ministry of Justice occupies the second place, where employees are paid an average of UAH 100.5 thousand. The Central Election Commission has slightly less – 97.2 thousand.
In November, the staff of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine received an average of UAH 72.59 thousand, compared to UAH 47.5 thousand at the beginning of the year. The average salary of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine increased from 57.9 thousand in January to 65.51 thousand in November.
