Starting from April 1, all Telegram users from Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia will be able to limit the number of people who can send them private messages.
This was announced by the messenger’s founder, Pavel Durov.
According to him, four days ago, Russian-speaking Telegram users began complaining about messages from strangers calling for terrorist attacks. The platform started blocking users who received such complaints.
“As a result, tens of thousands of attempts to send such messages were stopped, and thousands of users participating in this flash mob faced permanent blocking of their Telegram accounts,” Durov said.
