S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is out now

Maksym Krippa, owner of GSC Game World, said that the Ukrainian computer game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 has already made a profit from copy sales, and the developers have plans to create a series for the Netflix platform.

The studio’s owner did not say how much he had invested in the game’s development but noted that it cost “tens of millions of dollars.”

When asked about the sources of revenue from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, Krippa recalled a “perfect example” from the Polish company CD Projekt Red, which released The Witcher.

“S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl” is a post-apocalyptic shooter video game that is a sequel to the cult S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series of games.
