Paralympics 2024. Ukraine wins four golds on the seventh day of the Games

On the seventh day of the Paralympic Games, Ukraine won seven more medals and ranked seventh overall in medal count.

Ukraine won gold medals today:

  • Yaroslav Denisenko (swimming, 100 m freestyle, class S12);
  • Andrey Trusov (swimming, 50 m freestyle, class S7);
    swimming team consisting of Maryna Piddubna, Oleksii Virchenko, Anna Stetsenko, and Yaroslav Denysenko (mixed 4x100m freestyle relay);
  • Anastasia Moskalenko (shot put, class F32).

On September 5, Ukraine also added three more silver medals, won by Maksym Veraksa (swimming, 100 m freestyle, class S12), Anna Stetsenko (swimming, 100 m freestyle, class S12), and Maria Shpatkivska (shot put, class F46).

Since the start of the Games, Ukraine has won 52 medals: 13 gold medals, 18 silver medals, and 21 bronze medals.
