On the seventh day of the Paralympic Games, Ukraine won seven more medals and ranked seventh overall in medal count.
Ukraine won gold medals today:
- Yaroslav Denisenko (swimming, 100 m freestyle, class S12);
- Andrey Trusov (swimming, 50 m freestyle, class S7);
swimming team consisting of Maryna Piddubna, Oleksii Virchenko, Anna Stetsenko, and Yaroslav Denysenko (mixed 4x100m freestyle relay); - Anastasia Moskalenko (shot put, class F32).
On September 5, Ukraine also added three more silver medals, won by Maksym Veraksa (swimming, 100 m freestyle, class S12), Anna Stetsenko (swimming, 100 m freestyle, class S12), and Maria Shpatkivska (shot put, class F46).
Since the start of the Games, Ukraine has won 52 medals: 13 gold medals, 18 silver medals, and 21 bronze medals.
