In 2023, Ukraine’s gambling industry leaders earned 54.92 billion hryvnias, 28 times more than a year earlier, when they earned 1.94 billion hryvnias.
This is reported by the public data analysis service Opendatabot.
The top list includes nine online casinos, two engaged in betting activities, and one lottery operator.
The leader was SpaceX (Cosmolot brand), whose revenue in 2023 exceeded the previous year’s figures by 51 times, reaching UAH 27.95 billion.
Favbet (FAVBET brand) took second place in the top list. Its revenue in 2023 increased 425 times and amounted to UAH 9.79 billion, the largest increase among all gambling companies included in the Index.
The top companies also include the following:
- Ukr Game Technology (PIN-UP brand), last year’s leader of the rating. Revenue quadrupled to UAH 3.62 billion;
- Slots U.S.A. owns two online casino brands – SLOTOKING and 777. Revenue increased 103 times to UAH 3.4 billion;
- VBET (VBET brand), whose revenue increased 19 times to UAH 3.1 billion;
- GameDev (SLOTS CITY brand) with revenue of UAH 2.5 billion, which is 35 times more than in 2022;
- First Element (F1RST brand), whose revenue increased 43 times to UAH 2 billion;
- Lemon (ChampionCasino brand), with revenue of UAH 1.42 billion, which is 357 times more than in 2022;
- Nates APPS (Super Gra brand), which increased its revenue 55 times and earned UAH 604 million.
The Ukrainian National Lottery (UNL) was the only lottery operator included in the Index. Its revenue increased 2.5 times last year and amounted to UAH 516 million.
