On February 17, Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury will face off in a fight that will take place in Saudi Arabia.
An exciting promotional video for the upcoming fight between WBO, WBA, IBO, and IBF heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk and WBC titleholder Tyson Fury has been released.
In the video, the boxers meet in the Wild West, where Usyk arrives on horseback and challenges the “Gypsy King” to a duel.
The Ukrainians and the Britons come out to fight in the form of cowboys. Stepping on each other, they transform into Roman gladiators and pirates of the Caribbean and even become anime characters.
At the end of the video, Usyk and Fury return to the boxing ring, where the legendary ring announcer, Michael Buffer, announces the start of their fight. They throw out punches simultaneously, their gloves collide, and a spectacular explosion occurs.
The Usyk-Fury fight will occur on February 17, 2024, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The winner of this fight will become the first absolute world champion in the heavyweight division in the 21st century.
The last person to achieve this status in the heavyweight division was Lennox Lewis, who won it in 1999 by defeating Evander Holyfield. The WBA, WBC, and IBF titles were at stake. The WBO belt was recognized as equivalent in 2007, so the winner of the Usyk-Fury fight will become the first-ever absolute heavyweight champion with four major titles.
