In Rome, Villa Tre Madonne hosted a presentation of a new art project, “Birds Sing in Time of War: Vyshyvanka Couture of the Third Millennium by Oksana Karavanska.” The exquisite evening in Italy brought together diplomatic elite from all over the world.
The project is an essential component of cultural diplomacy and the promotion of Ukrainian culture in the world.
Oksana Karavanska is the only designer in Ukraine who has been creating haute couture collections for over 10 years and has been carrying out Ukraine’s cultural diplomacy at the highest level around the world: New York, Chicago, London, Paris, Sanlis, Davos, and many others.
This time, Oksana Karavanska presented “Vyshyvanka Couture of the Third Millennium” in Rome, where designer Ksenia Umanska is the author of modern embroidery. Ukrainian singer, theater and film actress, and Shevchenko Prize winner Natalia Polovynka directed the fashion show, and the Slovo and Holos Theater provided live music.
