Norwegian investment fund Norfund is allocating $10 million to Ukrainian biscuit and cracker manufacturer Yarych. The company will use the funds to modernize its factory in the Lviv region and launch a new pretzel production line.
The financing should help the company enter new product categories and increase sales in domestic and export markets.
The factory is located in the Lviv region and employs about 500 people. The company specializes in biscuits, crackers, and long-term flour products (famous brands are Maria, Petit Beurre, Matusyne, and La Siesta).
In addition to the domestic market, the company actively produces Private Label products for large European retailers, including Biedronka, Auchan, and Carrefour.
