Norwegian defense company Radionor Communications opens a branch in Ukraine

Norwegian defense company Radionor Communications will open a service center in Ukraine. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine’s press service following the negotiations.

Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Valery Churkin, met with a Norwegian delegation led by Raymond Söderholm, CEO of Radionor Communications. Churkin thanked the people and leadership of Norway, as well as the company, for their support in the fight against Russian aggression.

Radionor Communications is a long-standing supplier of communications technologies resistant to electronic warfare (EW) for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

During the meeting, the parties discussed new challenges in the use of drones on the front lines and ways to overcome them. According to Churkin, the presence of the company’s representative office in Ukraine will greatly simplify the maintenance of its products. It will also enable the professional training of Ukrainian military personnel, ensuring the effective use of these weapons.
