Netflix co-founder Reed Hastings has allocated $2 million to protect Ukrainian military medics. The businessman handed over the donation to the American organization White Stork, which provides emergency assistance and logistics, Deadline reports.
The funds will be used to purchase drone jamming systems that will protect Ukrainian combat medics from enemy drones. Each system costs about $6,000. The money will also be used for other types of assistance to military medics on the front line.

It should be noted that this is not the first time the businessman has financially supported Ukrainians through charitable foundations. Last year, Hastings donated $1 million to the Razom organization to purchase emergency equipment.
