Michelle Shotropa Showcases National Costume at Miss Eco International-2026

Michelle Shotropa, representing Ukraine at the international beauty pageant Miss Eco International 2026, unveiled her national costume inspired by the iconic Antonov An-225 Mriya aircraft. This outfit, titled “Dreams Cannot Be Destroyed,” pays homage to the legendary plane destroyed in February 2022 during the assault on Hostomel airfield. Simultaneously, it embodies the faith, strength, and resilience of the Ukrainian people.

The costume features a glossy white color reminiscent of the aircraft’s fuselage. A model of the “Mriya” aircraft hovers above the model’s head, creating the illusion of its flight. Michelle Shotropa will hold a poster with the inscription “Mriya (Dream) cannot be destroyed” during her appearance.

The design was crafted by Filipino designer Michael Barassi. Approximately 4 kg of recycled plastic and 3D printing materials were used in its creation. The production process lasted two months, including digital modeling and final decoration.

The pageant’s final is scheduled for May 22 in Alexandria, Egypt. Notably, Ukraine achieved its first Miss Eco International title in 2024, with Angelina Usanova claiming the victory.
