Fortnite, one of the world’s most popular online games, has added TheDonationMap, which recreates Kyiv’s Independence Square in detail. This was announced by Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
Walking around Maidan Nezalezhnosti, players will be able to help rebuild Ukraine by restoring the Prybuzka outpatient clinic in the Mykolaiv region.
The more time a player spends on TheDonationMap, the more money will be raised through the UNITED24 fundraising platform to rebuild Ukraine.
Mykhailo Fedorov noted that the idea was submitted by the French advertising agency Havas Play and implemented by Havas Dgtl Kyiv.
Fortnite was developed by the American company Epic Games and released in 2017.
