Public Broadcasting has announced a new music producer for the national selection for Eurovision 2026 – she is the singer, winner of Eurovision 2016, Jamala.
Jamala has previously been among the jury members of the national selection for Eurovision seven times. She is also the laureate of the 2024 Shevchenko Prize for the album Qırım, and this year, the singer became a member of the American Recording Academy, which awards the Grammy Awards.
According to her, she expects sincerity and strength from the upcoming season. Acceptance of applications for participation in the national selection will begin later, and new details regarding the conditions of participation and the selection process will also be announced.
