The 66th annual Grammy Awards, the largest music event in the world, took place in Los Angeles.
The appearance of the legendary singer Celine Dion was a huge surprise for the guests and nominees of the 2024 Grammy Awards. The 55-year-old singer made her first public appearance since being diagnosed with an incurable disease, muscular stiffness syndrome. However, this did not prevent the artist from holding her own and presenting the award for the best album to Taylor Swift.
By the way, Ukrainian singer Tina Karol became one of the jury members of the prestigious Grammy Awards.
The singer was included in the list of voting music judges who could choose the winner. This year, 3700 musicians from all over the world joined the US National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, and only 2800 of them were eligible to vote during the selection process.
It should be noted that Tina Karol is not the only Ukrainian to join the judging team for the award. In 2021, singer Asiya Akhat joined the Grammys. Earlier, she said that getting into the jury is more challenging. For this, the artist must receive a recommendation from the current judges.
