Mobile operators – 22 European and 7 Ukrainian – have extended free roaming calls for Ukrainian refugees in the EU for another 12 months.
As noted, the affordable calls allow Ukrainians seeking asylum in Europe due to the war unleashed by Russia to stay in touch with family and friends in Ukraine and vice versa.
The latest data provided by the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) shows the effectiveness of the signed agreement between operators in the EU and Ukraine.
The European Commission also called on other operators to join the agreement.
