Rinat Akhmetov, the wealthiest Ukrainian DTEK owner and Metinvest co-owner, took 785th place in the Forbes global billionaires list with a net worth of $4 billion. The list now includes five Ukrainian citizens. Ihor Kolomoisky dropped out of the ranking.
Victor Pinchuk was ranked 1,623rd on the list. The Interpipe Group owner’s wealth decreased by $100 million over the year to $2 billion.
Vadym Novynskyi, owner of Smart Holding, ranked 2,410th with $1.2 billion (-$200 million).
Ferrexpo shareholder Konstantin Zhevago’s wealth (2,410th place) decreased by $100 million over the year to $1.2 billion.
Hennadiy Boholyubov, co-owner of the so-called Privat group, ranks 2692nd. His wealth decreased by $100 million over the year to a billion.
According to Forbes, the wealthiest people in the world are French businessman Bernard Arnault and his family. The owner of the world’s leading fashion company, LVMH, is estimated to be worth $195 billion.
