The leaders of all 27 EU member states have unanimously decided to provide Ukraine with macro-financial assistance worth 50 billion euros. This was announced by European Council President Charles Michel after a special summit in Brussels.
“We have reached an agreement. Thanks to the unity of all 27 leaders, it was decided to provide additional support to Ukraine for 50 billion euros from the EU budget. This will provide stable, long-term, and predictable funding for the country. The European Union has taken the lead and responsibility in supporting Ukraine; we understand how important this initiative is,” he said in a social media post.
