Dynamo Kyiv had no problems with Partizan in the second match of the Champions League. Yarmolenko, Vanat, and Karavaev scored in Belgrade.

Dynamo Kyiv played its second match in the 2024-2025 Champions League. On July 31, Oleksandr Shovkovskyi’s team played the return leg against Partizan.
The issue was resolved in Lublin
The White and Blues essentially resolved the issue of moving on in the first game of the second qualifying round. In Lublin, Kyiv scored as many as six goals against Partizan, while conceding twice.
The four-goal advantage allowed them to travel to Belgrade with a calm mind. However, Dynamo intended to punish the Belgrade team for the second time, as they had allowed themselves to travel to Moscow for friendly matches against the “brotherly Russians” in early July.
Compared to the first game, Shovkovskyi started Dubinchak, Pikhalenko, and Voloshyn from the first minutes. Dynamo began to possess the ball from the start, but the hosts organized good counterattacks.
However, the first goal by Partizan depressed the Belgrade team. The Belgrade defense allegedly intercepted Vanat’s pass to Yarmolenko, but Owusu knocked the ball right into his teammate. The ball eventually reached Andriy, and he easily beat the goalkeeper.
They brought it to a defeat
After that, Partizan’s attacks became much less sharp. Dynamo could finish off the Serbs, but Shaparenko and Buyalsky failed to realize their chances. However, Vladislav Vanat managed to double the score.
In the middle of the second half, the forward was brought out one-on-one with the goalkeeper and Vladyslav was knocked down by a defender. The victim converted the penalty kick. After that, Voloshyn and Vanat could have brought the score to a rout, but Karavayev managed to score the third.
Oleksandr closed the shot from Dubinchak. Thus, Dynamo defeated Partizan for the second time and easily reached the third qualifying round. There, Kyiv will face Scottish Rangers. The matches will take place on August 6-7 and 13.
At the same time, the White and Blues are already guaranteed a ticket to at least the main round of the Europa League. And if Dynamo passes Rangers and another opponent, it will be in the main tournament of the Champions League.
