American actress Shannen Doherty, best known for her roles as Brenda Walsh in the cult TV series Beverly Hills, 90210 and Prue Gallivan in All Women Are Witches, has died.
Doherty’s agent, Leslie Sloan, told People magazine.
The actress died of cancer. She was 53 years old.
Doherty was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2015. In 2017, the actress announced that she was in remission. However, by 2019, the cancer had returned and spread. In June 2023, the actress announced that the cancer had spread to her brain.
