BBC News Ukraine has announced the winners of the 20th BBC Book of the Year 2024 Literary Awards. Julia Ilyukha’s collection of short prose “My Women” became the BBC’s book of the year.
In the “Essays” nomination, Yuri Roketsky won with the biographical novel “All Things, Sergey Kuzminsky, and Brothers Gadyukins.” The winner in the “Children’s Book of the Year” nomination was Gracie Oleiko’s collection of fairy tales, “And these are not inventions.”
