The Embassy of Ukraine in Japan reported on its Facebook page that an exhibition of Ukrainian embroidered towels was held at the Ukrainian cafe Krayany in the Japanese capital.
“The exhibition’s uniqueness is that all the works are created according to original samples from different regions of Ukraine here in Japan – by the hands of Ukrainian and Japanese craftswomen of the Ukrainian Embroidery Studio,” the post says.
It is noted that a special exhibit of the exhibition was an embroidered map of Ukraine. On the last day of the exhibition, March 30, guests could take part in a master class in Ukrainian embroidery.
