40-year-old Kateryna Wagner, née Marinova, from Pokrovsk, Ukraine, won the title of “Mrs. Germany” at a national beauty contest held in Germany. In the final, she came second, while Beatrice Bodrug won the “Miss Germany” crown, and Luka Kruger won the title of “Mr. Germany”.
Kateryna was born and raised in Pokrovsk, where she graduated from school with a gold medal. Since childhood, she has been involved in music, dancing, ballet, and even football. Already in adulthood, she has managed to combine active self-realization with family life – she is currently raising two sons.
In 2008, Kateryna went to Germany as part of a student exchange program. She continued her studies in Magdeburg, after which she decided to stay in the country. At the age of 40, she first won the local stage of the beauty contest in the city of Osterne. She later represented the region at the national level, where she was among the five finalists out of more than twenty participants.

The final of the contest consisted not only of shows and photo shoots. The participants also went through intellectual stages during which they demonstrated erudition, the ability to clearly formulate their thoughts, and their own civic positions. According to relatives, these tests were decisive in the Ukrainian woman’s high result.
After the competition, Kateryna Wagner noted that she perceives the title she won not only as a personal achievement, but also as a tool for further social and volunteer activities. She emphasized that her new life stage began in Franconia, where she started a family, works actively, and is involved in sports and community work. According to her, this region has forever become an important part of her life story.
