Ukrainian Oleksii Sereda has been named European Aquatics Athlete of the Year 2025 and has become Europe’s best male diver. He received the prestigious award immediately after winning his ninth European Championship gold medal.
The athlete is coached by Tamara Tokmachova, for whom this award is also special. Previously, she and Oleksii had already won the title of Athlete of the Year and Coach of the Year according to the Ukrainian NOC, but this is the first time her student has reached the European level.
