The 74th annual international parade, “The Yokohama Parade,” was held in the Japanese city of Yokohama, with the Ukrainian community and diplomats participating.
The Ukrainian column turned the procession into a real march of embroidered shirts under national flags. The event was joined by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Japan, Yuriy Lutovinov, embassy staff, representatives of the Ukrainian community living in the Tokyo-Yokohama region, those who found refuge in Japan from the Russian war, and friends of Ukraine.
The procession passed through the city’s central streets, from Yamashita Park to Isedzaki Pier. In his address to those present, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Japan, Yuriy Lutovinov, expressed gratitude for the solidarity and warm welcome.
