Brief biography

Elvira Paterson-Gavrilova is a Ukrainian entrepreneur, producer, investor, concept architect, and public figure. She is the founder of iHaven, a company implementing a large-scale project to build modern fortified underground residences, and SpaceSat, a company that develops small satellites for civil and defense use.
Elvira is also the founder of the international media project Pro Ukraine, which tells about the history and culture of Ukraine, the latest achievements and current events, as well as the activities of prominent Ukrainians around the world.

Education

Elvira Paterson graduated from Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, Faculty of International Relations and Diplomacy. She then continued her studies in Europe at a business school, where she immersed herself in management, investment, and strategic planning.

Biography

Born on March 26, 1989, in Mykolaiv. Her father is an entrepreneur, and her mother is an economist. She graduated from Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University (Master’s degree in International Relations, 2012). She founded her first business, a translation agency, while still a student. After moving to Odesa, she began working in media, production, and international communications.

Media and journalism:

In 2016, she became editor-in-chief of the publication Den’gi Plus, which she transformed into the glossy magazine Financoff. She also launched the magazines Fostylen and Fostylen Kids. In the 2020s, she founded Elledgy Magazine, an international print publication about style, diplomacy, and leadership. Among the cover stars are Camilla de Bourbon, Djimon Hounsou, Yulia Tymoshenko, Oleksandr Usyk, and Artem Pivovarov.

Elvira Paterson is the founder of the Pro Ukrainian Magazine platform, which unites the Ukrainian diaspora through publications and international events.

Business activities:

  • Elledgy Media Group is an international marketing company. Patterson is the founder, chief executive officer, and head of development strategy.
    Pro Ukraine is a large-scale media project aimed at promoting Ukrainian culture around the world.
  • iHaven is a construction company specializing in the design and construction of modern fortified residential properties. Patterson is the founder and CEO, responsible for concept, investment strategy, and architectural management.
  • SpaceSat is a company that develops small satellites for civil and defense use. Elvira is the founder and is responsible for the company’s strategic development and international communications. SpaceSat participated in the project to launch the Ukrainian flag to the moon.

Film production:

Elledgy Media Group has a full-cycle production division, in which Paterson serves as executive producer:

  • “The Case at the Wall Street Hotel” (2021) — a short film starring Eric Roberts, presented at international festivals.
  • Superpower (2023) — a documentary film by Sean Penn about Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
  • Organization of the presentation of Jean-Claude Van Damme’s film in Cannes (2024) — after 12 years of production.
  • Holiguards (2024–2025) — a fantasy action film starring Kevin Spacey, Dolph Lundgren, Tyrese Gibson, and Eric Roberts. Presented in Cannes and Dubai. A sequel is planned.

Social and cultural activities:

In 2018, Paterson launched the Top 100: Pride of Ukraine project, which includes four categories: women, men, children, and companies. As part of the initiative, the idea of Education in Great Britain was implemented, which allowed Ukrainian children to study abroad.

Charity:

Paterson is the founder of the Paterson Foundation, which supports women and children affected by war, violence, and humanitarian disasters. She has held seven charity evenings in support of Ukraine — in Lisbon, Athens, Odessa, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Cascais, and Venice (with the participation of Kevin Costner and Ornella Muti).

Cultural diplomacy:

Elvira Paterson is the initiator and organizer of international events:

  • Forbes Courchevel (2024) — a gala dinner at an altitude of 1,885 meters in the French Alps. Guests include Maye Musk, The Hardkiss band, and host Timur Miroshnychenko.
  • Forbes Saint-Tropez — an annual meeting of business leaders.
    NASA Kennedy Space Center (2025) — a gala event on international space cooperation, launching a memory capsule to the Moon with Ukrainian symbols.
